We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Immigration Assistant to join our team. This role will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of LMIA applications for our clients. Responsibilities

Prepare LMIA applications for submission to Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) by collating all relevant information and documents.
Review and assess LMIA applications for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
Contact clients to request missing information or clarification on submitted applications.
Keep up to date with changes in immigration policies and procedures, including LMIA regulations, to ensure applications are processed in accordance with current guidelines.
Liaise with ESDC and other relevant government agencies to resolve any issues or concerns with LMIA applications.
Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their LMIA applications and respond to any inquiries they may have.
Prepare and submit reports to management summarizing the progress and outcomes of LMIA applications.
Maintain accurate and organized records of LMIA applications, including all correspondence and documentation related to each case.

Job Requirements

Post-secondary education in immigration, business, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in LMIA processing
Strong understanding of Canadian immigration policies and procedures, including LMIA regulations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with immigration case management software
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information

Wage:

Starts at $20 per hour

Monday-Friday
