The role

Busbud is seeking a highly motivated Financial Systems Manager to join the Busbud Group Finance team. The role will report to the VP of Finance, and will provide technical and creative skills to solve both data and systems challenges with enthusiasm. This role will be responsible for the implementation, production and maintenance of Busbud’s key planning tool as well as running and maintaining its integration with Busbud’s implementation of NetSuite. This position will have the opportunity to interact with multiple finance and technical teams across Busbud Group of entities and provides a broad exposure to international businesses.

The ideal candidate will have skills that can solve problems across a wide variety of technical challenges. Whether it's pulling data directly from the source database, surfacing information via Looker, generating NetSuite reports, ensuring systems upkeep by building rules for NetSuite and our planning tool, or anything else, the Financial Systems Manager will be there to help. In addition, the candidate has the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment delivering against tight deadlines, being flexible and adaptable to appropriately prioritize workload, and having a passion for scaling operations through automation.

What you can expect from the opportunity

Implement a company-wide financial planning tool currently in the vendor selection stage
Liaise with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure that all of its Financial Systems are up and running smoothly
Lead the onboarding and integration of all of Busbud Group subsidiaries onto the Group’s Finance Systems, both 3rd party and homegrown
Manage the recurring forecasting and month-end Finance team business processes and make appropriate recommendations for automating time-consuming data retrieval tasks via reports & dashboards
Participate in the development and implementation of new reporting tools and administer those tools going forward (i.e. Looker)
Act as a systems analyst to create requirements for data or data models for the technology teams and other partner organizations
Implement key policies and controls as the lead administrator of the platform
Be an expert in finance, payments, product and marketing data needs for finance and business diagnostics
Troubleshoot problems that team members encounter with NetSuite, the forthcoming planning tool, Looker or homegrown tools
Liaise and act as a representative for Busbud Group Finance systems teams within the organization
Share expertise and best practices with different finance, business and technology functions

How you can impress us

10 years in a similar role at a technology or e-commerce-related business
Undergraduate degree ideally in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science or a related degree
Required experience with implementation and management of financial planning systems such as Hyperion, Adaptive Planning, or Anaplan
Required experience with administering Netsuite and/or Oracle ERP systems
Expert-level knowledge of reporting tools such as Looker and/or SQL
Desirable skills in tools for efficiently querying large databases such as Google
Required experience in a production environment setting up processes to be maintainable and scalable
Working knowledge of Spanish is a plus
