They are looking for an entrepreneurial, personable, & technically talented individuals to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards
Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources
Work directly with clients to build and maintain relationship
perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers
Perform tax research projects
Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status, client opportunities and other matters
Provide training, direction, and supervision to team
Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization
Build new client relationship and maintain existing relationships
Execute a client service plan on complex engagements and work closely with the Partners in exceeding our client’s expectations while identifying and mitigating business risks associated with projects
Engage in Consulting and special projects as request by management and clients

Qualifications:

BSBA in accounting
Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
3+ years of experience in public accounting
Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized and detail oriented
Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and develop team members
Proficiency in QuickBooks, CaseWare, Profile, TaxCycle, Jazzit, and Microsoft Office
