International Tubular Products Inc 70b Titan Road Brampton Ontario dealing in the manufacture and supply of steel products urgently require an Accounting Supervisor who is hardworking, organized, having strong analytical and decision making skills; Must have complete knowledge of accounting standards and a strong aptitude in multicurrency consolidations due to the nature of the job;

Job Duties of this position include:

Maintain a documented system of accounting policies & procedures;
Implement efficient working procedures and co-ordinate, assign and review the work of staff engaged in administering accounts payables and receivables;
Monitor expenditure, identify variance and implement corrective actions;
Process, verify and record financial documents, administer payroll, follow up on overdue accounts;
Authorize payments, credits, check and wire transactions;
Approve ledger entries by authorizing transactions;
Support the annual audit by providing information to auditors;
Establish work schedules and procedures;
Resolve work related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports;
Ensure accuracy of financial transactions;
Meet accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews;
Maintain cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements;
Protect company’s image by keeping information confidential;
Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls;
Manage production of the annual budget & forecast and prepare the annual report;
Maintain a system of controls over all accounting transactions;

Job Type: Permanent, full time position.

Salary: $33.05 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Overtime: 1.5 times the wage after 44 hours per week.

Experience: 2-3 years

Education: Certification/Diploma in Accounting

Language Requirement: English both verbal and written
