Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting

This job will have the following responsibilities:

Assist with the internal valuation of the REIT’s investment property portfolio
Assist with the preparation of the REIT’s annual financial statements, MD&A and Press Release, including commentaries and analysis where required
Assist with the preparation of the REIT’s annual reporting package for management and the Board
Assist with preparation of legal entity financial information for income tax reporting
Assist with the REIT’s annual information form and management information circular -Treasury Management
Assist with the preparation of the REIT’s funding needs with lenders
Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring of performance against budgets
Assist with mortgage compliance reporting

Qualifications & Requirements:

Financial statement preparation
Working knowledge of IFRS
Bilingual is an asset
Strong software skills including Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to learn accounting systems (experience with Yardi is an asset)
