Position Overview

Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Permanent Accounting & Finance Recruitment, has partnered with our client to recruit a highly technical and analytical Corporate Reporting Manager. The Corporate reporting Manager will be responsible for a broad range of responsibilities including but not limited to reviewing and developing ESG reporting and communications, governance, regulatory and financial compliance, drafting MD&A, supporting Board related materials and much more. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone coming right from a large accounting firm who prides themselves on being highly technical and talented with research, attention to detail and possesses strong communication skills due to the exceptional visibility with the Executive team this opportunity provides.

Responsibilities:

The Corporate reporting Manager is responsible to:

• Engage, develop, plan and execute with industry best practices in the field of ESG, data privacy, and government policy and regulatory compliance.
• Creating MD&A media releases and preparing annual meeting information.
• Ensuring IFRS compliance through continual research.
• Preparation of Board of Directors reports
• Continuous policy and procedure improvement
• Risk and Sustainability committee involvement
• Research and regulatory support

Requirements:

• Possess an accounting Canadian designation, CPA (CA, CGA, CMA).
• 5+ years of financial reporting, disclosure, and research experience.
• A top performer at a large Public Accounting Firm with extensive experience with IFRS
• You are a talented financial reporting professional that carries years of public company exposure with preparation of financial statements, accounting research and compliance.
• Effective communication skills and be able to work with all staff within a large complex organization as well as external contacts and have exposure to investor relations.

Rewards:

• $85,000 - 110,000 DOQ
