Salary: $17.00 to $17.50 / hour for 32 to 35 hours / week

Specific Skills

Assemble pieces of garments by matching patterns.
Operate single, double or multi-needle serging, and other sewing machines, to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.
Operate fur sewing machines to join fur pelt strips to required size and shape and join pelts into garment sections.
Operate stitching machines to sew leather parts together for leather articles.
Operate serging machines to sew and overcast edges of material simultaneously.
Examine garments and operate sewing machines, sergers and other machines to repair furniture or during the manufacturing process.
Complete production reports.
Meet delivery deadlines by working with team to ensure products are made correctly and with good quality and meet production goals set by company.
Troubleshoot basic machinery problems and request service or repairs as needed.
