Position: Accounts Receivable Manager

Southbridge Health Care LP (Southbridge) is currently looking to add a talented Accounts Receivable Manager to our amazing corporate finance team at our head office in Cambridge, ON. Reporting to the VP – Finance, Operations, the Manager will help build, lead, and mentor a team responsible for the cash management of Long-Term Care and Retirement homes. The Manager will be involved at various depths with accounts receivable, remittances, compliance, and audit support.

Responsibilities:

In the first six months assist in the recruitment and development of the accounts receivable team.
On an ongoing basis oversee the accounts receivable department of one individual and support office managers and Executive Directors where needed. This includes overseeing current billing and receipts, monitoring monthly performance metrics as they relate to receivables, guide key team members to meet goals, and ensure timely proper reporting to the corporate reporting team.
Perform monthly closing activities for the AR function.
Reconciliation of Point Click Care (PCC) receipts.
Oversee all other receivables and assist clerk and office managers where necessary.
Oversee, guide, and participate in the collections process.
Oversee and assist in management of 3^rd party billings.
Prepare AR reporting packages for management.
Assist with audit requests.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an AR Manager or similar role.
Experience with Sage Intacct is considered an asset.
Experience with PCC.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office.
An in depth understanding of the senior care continuum.
An analytical mind and good math skills.
Outstanding communication skills (written and oral).
Organizational and leadership skills.
Post-secondary in areas of business, accounting or related field considered and asset.
