Taiga is a rapidly scaling 100% electric recreational and utility vehicles technology and manufacturing company. We are looking for an experienced Cost Analysis Manager with the vision and leadership to lay the foundation for our cost, investment and inventory management processes.

This position is responsible for liaising between all stakeholders, including Senior Management, FP&A, Program Management, and Accounting, to develop the cost reduction plans, update Budget and Forecasts and drive the targets to the bottom line.

Responsabilities:

Lead a team of 2 cost analysts that effectively:

Develops vehicle program cost and CapEx targets based on present cost and should-cost
Track and report program status and identify gaps to target for both material cost and CapEx investment; work with operating teams to deliver targets
Develop should-cost targets for material cost and vendor tooling using aPriori
Report cost status to vehicle program teams on a weekly basis
Report should cost to support quarterly audit and inventory valuation
Develop forecast of all components of COGS for the Budget, Strategic Business Plan and Forecast updates
Provide variance analysis for quarterly results between forecast and actuals
Track and report inventory to ensure working capital targets are achieved
Act as primary liaison on COGS with Accounting, Program Team and FP&A

Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
3-5 years of experience in cost analysis in a manufacturing environment
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Experience working with an ERP
Excellent communicator with experience preparing reports for senior management
