Position Description

Reporting to the VP of Finance, this dynamic individual will coordinate the financial reporting for the group and support the presentation of financials to senior executives. Significant focus of the role will be on driving efficiency and process improvements.

What You Will Do

+ Constant interaction with the finance leads of the Professional and Consumer business to ensure consistency throughout the financial process

+ Ownership of the management reporting cycle, including budget, actuals and forecast.

+ Review and assist with variance analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis

+ Completion of all corporate reporting, including Profit/Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.

+ Accurately forecast Cash position for a rolling 12 month period and suggest areas to improve cash position

+ Preparation of Quarterly Operations Review to be presented to Group CEO.

+ Hire, manage and mentor direct reports

+ Assist with ad hoc reports as necessary

What You Have Done

+ Post-Secondary education in Accounting or related field

+ Certification from a recognized Accounting/Finance Association (CPA or equivalent)

+ 5-7 years experience in Accounting or Finance

+ Experience with multiple currencies a must

+ Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Power BI is a plus

+ Proficient in the use of Hyperion and Hyperion Smartview.

+ Familiarity with SAP R/3/Business Warehouse is an asset
