Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (must be available for Overtime, Weekends, Day, Night, Evening)

Education: Completed at least some secondary school
Experience: 1 year or more flat deck experience will be an asset (Not Mandatory).
Credentials: (Certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.), (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Languages: Functional English is required
Type of Travel: Long-haul, Travel for extended periods.
Type of Equipment: Super B Flat, Triaxle Flat, and Reg Flat
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills:
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Loading and unloading of goods
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Plan travel schedules and routes
- Receive and relay information to a central dispatcher
- Oversee condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
- Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Transportation/travel experience

Other Requirements: Routes will include all of Canada and the Mid-West USA. Nights, weekends, and holidays will be required to make timely deliveries to our customers. An excellent driving record is a must.
