Job Duties:
- Care for and supervise two newborn babies in employer’s private home
- Prepare and sterilize bottles, feed and bathe infants, and change diapers
- Organize and maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment
- Tend to the emotional well-being and early development of the children
- Follow nap schedules and assist with baby routines
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to childcare
- Maintain records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year of full-time experience in child care, including experience with infants/newborns
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent
- Ability to communicate in English
- Criminal record check required
- CPR/First Aid certificate is an asset
Terms and Benefits:
- Full-time position:30 to 40 hours/week
- Wage: $22.00 per hour (overtime after 44 hours/week)
- Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% vacation pay
- Work setting: Employer’s private home (Calgary, AB)
