Position Summary
We are seeking for outstanding Spa Aestheticians to join our team at OhSpa. Our main focus is to provide our guests with the highest level of comfort. This position requires someone who is hospitable, friendly, and outgoing with a focus on guest service. The Spa Aestheticians will report to the Spa Manager.
Spa Aesthetician
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide full aesthetic services including facials, pedicures, manicures, waxing and bodywork
• Prepare and blend oils, and apply the blends to clients' skin
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients
• Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions
• Promote a suitable home care routine for clients and aid in spa’s product sales goals
• Provide guest with exceptional customer service
• Assist in general cleanliness in spa and treatment rooms
• Act as an ambassador for the hotel and spa
• Ability to explain various treatments/services to our guest clearly and knowledgably
• Team player and proactively looks for ways to enhance the level of service provided to customers
• Ability to maintain strict confidence
• Proven warm and sincere verbal communication skills
• Effective communication capabilities demonstrating sound judgment
• Ability to respond to questions from clients and guests offering appropriate options or resolutions
• Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner
• Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
· Experience working in a spa or therapy center environment preferred
· 2+ years' experience as a professional massage therapist
· Knowledge of reflexology, hot stone, trigger point, sports, and deep tissue massage
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Computer skills
· Great interpersonal skills
· Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods
· Ability to keep a well-groomed, professional appearance
· Ability to perform massages on diverse clients
Wages: $19.23 per hour, plus a commission on services, plus a commission on product sales.
+32 hours/week; Permanent Full-time position
