Tasks: Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers; Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs; Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations; Organize tasks to accomplish the work; Oversee the activities of clearing the fields; Cut agricultural crops; Develop specific plans to prioritize; Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures; Maintain quality control and production records; Maintain work records and logs; Maintain financial and production records; Maintain livestock performance records; Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting; Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed; Negotiate with clients for provision of services; Train staff; Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities; Direct farm feed inventory activities; Direct farm grooming activities; Diagnose livestock health issues; Handling animals; Implement soil fertility programs; Level earth to fine grade specifications; Marking livestock as proof of ownership; Monitor the calving process; Monitoring animal health; Seed cutting; Soil fertility programs; Treat livestock health issues; Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs; Formulate feeding program; Select livestock for sale; Train horses; Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; Perform general farm duties.
