Salary: $18.50 - $22.00 / Hour for 40 Hours / Week

Employment conditions: Morning, day, evening, night, weekend

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Languages: English

Education: Some High School

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.

Personal Suitability: Initiative, team player, dependability, reliability, organized

Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards; Supervise and check assembly of trays; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation; Establish work schedules; Establish methods to meet work schedules; Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures; Prepare and submit reports; May perform same duties as those supervised.

Supervision: 5-10 people; Kitchen and food service helpers

Work Setting: Restaurant

Work Site Environment: Noisy, odours

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods in warm and sometimes noisy settings, bending, crouching, kneeling.
