Job Description

Creekers Bistro located at 20 White Ave, Bragg Creek, AB T0L 0K0, Canada, is currently looking for One (1) permanent, full time Cook qualified. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.

· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Compensation: $17.00 per hour

· Working hours: 30 - 35 hours per week

· Benefits: 4% vacation days / Free meals at work and tips

Job Duties

· Prepare and cook meals or prepare dishes for customers with food allergies

· Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards

· Follow proper recipes and be responsible for reflecting customers’ feedback

· Plan and create new menus and prepare various sauces

· Ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions and estimate food requirements, costs

· Supervise and train kitchen helpers with respect to food preparation and oversee kitchen operations

· Manage kitchen operations

· Monitor, maintain food inventory, supplies and equipment and order them when needed

· Clean kitchen, work areas and abide by safety and hygiene rule.

· Ability to work shifts (morning, day, evening and/or weekends)

Requirements

· Completion of secondary school

· Min. 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook in a commercial restaurant (or) Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks (or) Completion of college or other program in cooking is required
